Privacy Policy

Kickoff: Soccer 2026 ("the App") is a match-notification app for the 2026 international football tournament. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can contact us.

What we collect

• Random device ID — a UUID generated on your device the first time you open the App. It never contains your name, email, or any personal identifier.
• Expo push token — a token issued by Expo/Apple to deliver match notifications to your device. We store this solely to send the alerts you opted into.
• Team follows and notification preferences — which teams you follow and which alert types (goals, final result) you have enabled.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any browsing or usage data. We do not run analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind.

Football data

Live match data is sourced from football-data.org via our backend proxy. We do not share any device data with football-data.org.

Data retention and deletion

Your device registration is kept for the duration of the tournament so we can deliver notifications. To have your data deleted, email us at the address below and we will remove your record within 7 days.

Third-party services

We use Expo Push Notification service (operated by Expo) to deliver notifications. No other third-party services receive your data.
